What does “managed” mean?

In a managed relationship, your provider maintains the systems within an agreed scope. The work includes routine care as well as responding to problems. That scope can cover employee devices, servers, cloud platforms, user support and security controls.

The important part is clarity. The agreement should explain what is included, when support is available, how incidents are handled and what work is quoted separately.
